How can I support learning at home?
In years 6 children need a secure understanding of the number system and mental fluency with the patterns in our number system with numbers up to 10,000,000. A secure understanding of times table facts and their related division facts will enable them to access almost every other mathematical domain, including geometry, statistics, fractions, algebra and ratio and proportion. All of the previously mentioned websites and activities will consolidate this.
One website that supports the understanding of all domains in upper key stage 2, as well as links to YouTube videos demonstrating how to answer each SATS-style question, is:
