I need to speak to my child's teacher...

  • Senior leaders will be available to take messages on the school gates.

  • Private message the class teacher via Dojo.

  • Telephone the office to make an appointment after school or arrange a phonecall

  • Talk with the class teacher once they have seen the class out safely at the end of the day.

Walk home alone passes

Year 4, 5 and 6

Please allow 5 working school days for home alone passes to be processed.

My child is in year 4, 5 or 6 and has a mobile phone as they walk home and to school alone.
All mobile phones must be handed in to class teachers on arrival and will be returned at 3:15pm

What if we are late for school?

​

Any Pupils arriving late after registration will need to sign in at the main entrance on Forest Road and will be taken to class.

​

Any pupils arriving late will be recorded as late on the register.

​

What are the timings for the school day?

​

The back playground gate and front field gate open at 8:30am. Pupils must be supervised by their adult until the enter the school building.

​

Pupils with a walk home alone pass must enter the school playground or front entrance gate as soon as they arrive. We ask for parental support ensuring this.

First Aid Kit

My child will not be in school today.

​

Please call or dojo the office if your child is poorly.

We ask you to call each day of absence.

​

In line with LA and Government policies holidays will not be authorised.

​

Please let us know if your child is not attending school as it will save us a call to you.

My child has prescribed medication.

​

If medication prescribed by a doctor needs to be administered in the school day please click here to complete a consent form online or a paper copy can be completed at the main school office.

​

Please hand all medication in to the main office to be stored safely.

Pupils MUST NOT carry medication to and from school if walking alone.

​

We cannot administer non prescribed medicines or creams.

My child attends a club before or after school.

​

Any Pupils arriving before 8:30 must arrive via the main office (Forest Road)

​

Children who attend breakfast and afterschool club in the preschool building will enter via ringing the bell to preschool on the back gate.

What are the timings for the school day?
 

Preschool classroom door opens at 8:50.  Preschool day ends at 3:10pm
Reception and year 1 door opens at 8:35. Pupils are late if they arrive after 8:40. The day ends at 3:10

Year 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 door opens at 8:40. Pupils are late if they arrive after 8:45. The day ends at 3:15

Arrivals after the doors/gates are locked will need to enter and sign in via the main office.
